The Blackwood was Lincolns, first short lived attempt to market a luxury truck. Actually only a Ford F-150 crew cab, in place of the truck bed was a carpeted trunk, that looked like a covered truck bed. A rear wheel drive car with a 5.4L V8 engine, the Blackwood was built on Ford's P platform. Obviously equipped with many more luxurious features than a truck buyer generally wants, the vehicle was targeted at a very strange market group. However, Cadillac's own luxury truck - the Escalade EXT - continued 10 years beyond the Blackwood; a testament to the existence of luxury truck seekers.

Two 18" alloy wheels were available on the Blackwood, both with seven spokes and finished in either chrome or bright machined.
