Information On Factory Buick Regal Rims and Wheels

The Buick Regal is a luxury car that has been in production since 1973 and is currently producing its fifth generation as of 2009. The Regal has always been a 4-door sedan, but was also in pre 4th generation available as a 2-door coupe, and exclusively during its second generation was offered as a 4-door hatchback as well. In 1999 the Regal began production as part of Shanghai GM and has been successfully producing the Regal ever since (even during the seven year respite between 2004 and 2011 when the Regal was not being produced anywhere else.

The Regal offered a variety of 14", 15", and 16" alloy and steel wheels before the 5th generation. The 14" rims came in a variety of styles and, for the most part, were either machined or chrome finished, there were an equal amount of steel and alloy rims available. the 16" wheels began being offered in 1989 and had anywhere from 6 slots to 17 spokes. With the 5th generation in 2011 the rims for the Regal took a very different look, most notably that they are all either 18" or 19" and no steel wheels are offered at all.
